Yola SEQ: Step-by-Step Composition Meets Expressive Looping （Each note can have its own individual MPE slider mapping.）

Two ways to turn touch into a musical phrase — Yola’s SEQ brings together deliberate step sequencing and spontaneous real-time recording. Build sequences of up to 128 steps with single notes or four-note chords, then reshape their motion with four playback directions and 32 trig patterns. Switch to REALTIME to capture the timing, pitch bends and timbral movement of your touch performance, then bring it back as a repeating loop.

Paired with Yola Voice or dedicated Yola plugins and hardware that support SEQ MAP, the sequencer and your live performance can control separate voices — keeping your accompaniment looping while you play freely on the touch keyboard.

With eight save slots for each recording mode, Yola’s SEQ lets you keep your ideas and return to them — from carefully constructed sequences to melodies discovered in the moment.

Yola ARP: Pattern Arpeggiation Meets Step Sequencing （Each note can have its own individual MPE slider mapping.）

A distinctive approach to chord transformation — Yola’s ARP combines a pattern-based arpeggiator with hands-on step sequencing, turning held notes and chords into expressive, rhythmic phrases. Shape your sequence by choosing which note-pool entry each step plays and whether it triggers. Explore 22 scale-aware interval recipes and 32 trig patterns, or customize your own step order and rhythm. Extend a single note across up to eight steps to create a melodic riff, or combine different note-cycle lengths with an independent eight-step trig cycle in AUTO mode for shifting rhythmic interplay. From simple pulses to intricate patterns, Yola’s ARP invites both spontaneous performance and deliberate experimentation.

Precision audio circuit calibration, hand-picked components.High-speed UART communication with virtually no latency.It runs an MPE synthesizer firmware built on the legacy of the 700 Voice, but featuring 11 all-new algorithms. The hardware offers high-quality audio stereo output and input, and uses high-quality Alps faders.
